Luiza Youssefi, OD, is a highly trained optometrist at Meriden MedSpa in Meriden and Fairfield, Connecticut. Dr. Youssefi has many years of medical experience and enjoys enhancing the appearance of patients aged 12 and older in a welcoming setting.

She received her bachelor’s degree at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and her optometry credential from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. A contact specialist, Dr. Youssefi is skilled in fitting contact lenses in patients with difficult-to-fit prescriptions.

Her other areas of expertise include primary eye care and post-op management for people undergoing cataract removal, corneal transplants, glaucoma management, refractive surgery, and more. Dr. Youssefi is a member of the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, the Contact Lens Society, and the American Optometric Association. 

When she’s not at the office, Dr. Youssefi loves cooking, painting, traveling, Zumba dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. 

She welcomes new and existing patients to Meriden MedSpa and looks forward to meeting with them. 

​​​​​Dr. Lauren Plass brings a strong foundation in science and a passion for personalized patient care to the Meriden Eye Care team. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Missouri State University, where she developed a deep interest in the connection between health and vision.

Known for her warm, approachable demeanor and attention to detail, Dr. Plass is committed to helping each patient achieve and maintain optimal eye health. Whether you’re coming in for a routine exam, managing a chronic eye condition, or exploring vision correction options, she takes the time to listen, educate, and create a care plan that fits your needs.

Dr. Plass is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality eye care to individuals and families in the community.
